What's Happening ~ An Open and Affirming Congregation
The Coordinating Council held a retreat in February to begin the conversation about the future direction for the church.  One of the foci they considered was to initiate a discernment process to explore becoming an Open and Affirming congregation.  At its meeting in March the coordinating council voted to begin this process.  The first step is to invite the congregation to participate in an information session that would be facilitated by a member of the Open and Affirming Coalition from the SNEUCC conference.  At this session we will discuss what a process might look like for Pilgrim Church.  It will include a question and answer period.  We are working on putting this together and details about a date will be forthcoming.
